Visiting Mickey 9/28-10/6. Can we use our snack option on the DP at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival? And what is your favorite kiosk and is there a strategy? When does the festival officially begin?

Hi, Mendi!  You will find that many of the tapas sized items available at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival kiosks will count as one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.  That is such an awesome value in many instances!  There was a delicious lobster roll that made quite a nice light lunch that counted as a snack credit, and Italy featured a seafood and pasta snack that, with a cannoli, was a nice meal!

My only advice regarding strategy is to plan your day well!  The kiosks can get quite busy, and weekends are a bit busier than weekdays.  Scope out the things you want to try either on a dry run visit a day or two earlier, or by browsing the information that comes up online.

The things that are my favorite have a lot to do with my family and experiences.  Poland features kielbasa and potato pierogies that remind me so much of the ones my grandmother used to make, so I never miss those!  The lobster and seafood fisherman's pie brings to mind my Irish roots as well - and it's so yummy!

The festival kicks off on September 28th, so I know where I'll be then!  I'll say hi, if my mouth isn't full of pierogies!
