We will be visiting in May with our 4 year-old daughter. I have reservations for lunch at Cinderella's castle, BKFST Tusker House and dinner at Garden Grill. I wanted to add one more Character Dinner, would you recommend 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey

    Hello, Jodie!

It sounds like you are planning a very special trip for your sweet princess! You have selected some excellent options for dining with favorite Disney Characters. There are several differences between dinner at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare, and I am happy to help walk you through both experiences so you can make a final decision.

Chef Mickey's offers Guests the opportunity to enjoy contemporary American cuisine in a casual buffet-style setting. The buffet includes items like pasta, carved beef, roasted chicken, and macaroni and cheese. While dining, favorite Disney Characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie Mouse make their way around the restaurant to meet with Guests. Chef Mickey's is very convenient for transportation, as it is located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort: just a short walk or monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park.

The always-elegant 1900 Park Fare welcomes young royals in the evenings for the special Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner. Cinderella and her handsome Prince Charming welcome Guests of all ages to dine on seafood, pasta, beef, chicken, cheese pizza, and macaroni and cheese at the buffet. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is so gorgeous, and can be a great place to walk around and explore after you have finished your meal.

Reservations for both dining experiences can be made up to 180 days in advance. Please keep in mind that Disney Character appearances and entertainment are subject to change.

I hope you and your family have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Jodie! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel if you have any more questions. We would love to hEAR from you!
