Visiting on March 29 & MK is unavailable for regular park tickets. If purchasing a park hopper is it possible MK will still open up for availability that day if annual pass doesn’t fill up? If so can the 1st park be modified/changed.

    Hi Kelsey,

Are you so excited that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the riverbend? I hope you're counting down the days until the magic and fun begin and dreaming lots of Disney dreams. It won't be long until you pass through those magical welcome gates and your dreams become reality!

If you have your heart set on a certain park for a certain day, I'd definitely encourage you to keep your eye on the availability calendar. Guests' plans do change frequently, and it's always possible that availability opens up. If that happens, all you'll need to do is cancel the current Disney Park Pass reservation you have and book a new one in its place. Adding the Park Hopper option to your theme park tickets won't change the availability calendar for you, but it will make it possible for you to hop over to Magic Kingdom Park that day after 2 PM. You'll still need to make a reservation for another park and enter it, but as long as there is availability (which you'll be able to see in the My Disney Experience mobile app), you'll be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park for at least part of the day. Reservations are not required to be able to hop to other theme parks, and you'll be able to hop around to your heart's content until the last park closes for the day. I'm sending some pixie dust that your plans will work out perfectly and you'll be able to experience everything you're hoping to during your visit!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Kelsey, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
