We will be visiting Magic Kingodom on October 14 and attending MNSSHP in the evening with dinner reservations at Tony's Town Square at 6:05. When is the best time of day to take a break from the park so we can avoid crowds and get rested for the party?

Hi, Elizabeth!  My family and I are early risers, and when it comes to hitting the theme parks, we like to go as soon as the parks open to get a jump on the crowds.  I feel like you can get a lot accomplished first thing, and then grab a bite to eat for lunch, and head back to your resort.  That will let you get some swim time in, or maybe a nice afternoon nap, and you'll all be refreshed and ready to go back - in your costume! - to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

I'd say that as long as you were back at your resort by 2:00, you'll have at least three hours before you have to think about heading back to the Magic Kingdom.  It's just enough time to recharge those batteries for the evening's festivities!

    Have a great time!
