Hi moms! We are visiting Magic Kingdom from 10/2-10/4 w/ my2yr old baby & grandparents & staying offsite. What is the best plans for a short stay and a 2-day base ticket, we don't get to Orl till around 4pm Thur. & leaving sometime Sat. aft

    Hi Marisa,

Hooray for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! You really have some options for this trip so I will give you my thoughts and then you can decide.

I am sure you want to see Magic Kingdom. On Thursday, October 2 and Friday, October 3, the Magic Kingdom is closing at 7:00 pm. This is probably because Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening on these nights which requires a separate ticket.

One option is to go to Magic Kingdom Friday and Saturday. This will allow you enough time to see the parks and the only big item you would miss would be the fireworks and night parade on Friday.

Another option is Magic Kingdom on Friday and Disney's Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom on Saturday. Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are smaller parks which generally do not take a full day to tour.

Another option is Magic Kingdom and Epcot. You could do the parks in either order. However, if your daughter is the primary reason, take Epcot on Saturday. You can do Living with the Seas, Space Ship Earth and the Land until 11 am when the World Showcase opens. Then tour the 11 countries around World Showcase enjoying Epcot's International Wine & Dine Festival by Chase.

For Thursday, enjoy your resort or tour Downtown Disney.

Any option will be magical with your family!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
