I’m so excited to welcome you to planDisney! A
summer visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is such a wonderful time to go. There’s an added energy in the parks with longer days, plenty of entertainment, and so many opportunities to make special memories.
I love that your little Space Ranger is a fan of Buzz Lightyear. My oldest son, who is now 16, went through a big Buzz phase when he was younger, and it was the sweetest thing. The photos we have from meeting him are still some of my favorites.
Right now, Stitch has been greeting guests in Tomorrowland just outside the exit of
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Since your trip is in July, there is always a chance that character appearances could change a bit.
As your visit gets closer, I recommend checking the
My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information. From the home screen, tap the location icon at the bottom, set your location to Magic Kingdom, then select “
Characters” at the top. You will be able to see who is scheduled to appear that day. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that Buzz is out meeting guests during your visit.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER will be happening, and it sounds like the perfect fit for your son. Over in Magic Kingdom at
The Diamond Horseshoe, he can join Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and their friends for Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip Roarin’ Revue, where there’s plenty of singing, dancing, games, and hands-on activities.
When you arrive at the park, be sure to grab a Cool KIDS’ Summer booklet at the entrance. It’s a great way to see everything that’s going on and make sure you don’t miss any of the fun.
