Hi there, Ashley,
We're so glad you jingled your way over to planDisney today. Boy, oh boy do I have some great news for you!
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, typically only available on evenings when
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled, will be spreading daytime cheer down Main Street, U.S.A.
beginning Saturday, December 21. You'll have the opportunity to watch this merry and magical parade at 12 p.m. or 3 p.m. (or both, I don't judge) during your visit to Magic Kingdom Park on December 23, and the fun continues through December 31.
I actually experienced this parade for the first time during a Christmas Day visit a few years back and loved soaking in all the festive sights and sounds. I had the chance to experience the magic again during the Christmas Party last year, and while I loved the unique evening experience, I think you'll enjoy it just the same in the daytime hours during your visit.
Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, a stage show at Cinderella Castle, is also scheduled for multiple evening performances between December 21 and December 29. The holiday fun continues with Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks replacing Happily Ever After on these dates, as well. You can confirm the daily entertainment schedule via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App for the most up-to-date information during your trip.
You'll find
plenty of merriment across Walt Disney World Resort so be sure to explore the offerings at the parks and the incredible displays at select resorts. The
Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, and you'll definitely want to stop in to inhale the sweetly spiced aroma (and maybe even pick up a few holiday treats, too).
Ashley, I hope this helps you "sleigh" your park itinerary. If we can answer any additional questions ahead of your arrival please come right back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
