    Visiting with lots of family in July 2010. What's a good place for my husband and I to slip away one evening for dessert and coffee/tea? We could make a late ADR and just grab a sandwich earlier in the evening if necessary.

    Oh, I'm envious! I love to have a date night at Disney! I just wish my husband and I had the opportunity to "sneak away" more often!

    A great places to sneak away to are the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, The Wave at the Contemporary, and France in World Showcase.

    The Kona Cafe (or even the Kona Island Sushi Bar right next door where you can request anything from the Kona Cafe menu) offer an excellent Press Pot of Kona Coffee. Pair this with a Kilauea Torte or Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee for a nice sweet ending. Afterwards, a stroll on the beach or a few quiet moments in a hammock will top off a wonderful night! Plus, a boat ride back to the Magic Kingdom is a nice way to spend those last quiet minutes together.

    The Wave at the Contemporary offers a wonderful lounge and bar area in a hip location. If you enjoy either beer or wine, the flights offered here are a fun way to sample some new flavors. The desserts are also offered in a "flight" type sampling plate with most offerings including three separate dessert flavors.

    If you can take advantage of a late evening at Epcot, the World Showcase (and France in particular) offer wonderful romantic spots to enjoy the evening while having a sweet ending to your night. Les Chefs de France offers wonderful atmosphere and cuisine all in one package. With expresso, cappuccino and Profiteroles au chocolat you can't go wrong!
