Hi, We will be visiting later in the year and purchasing the dining plan. My oldest will be 10 and while I realize that she will be charged as an adult, does that mean she has to order from the adult menu? She would prefer the kids options. Thank you!

    Hi Amy!

I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this year!  You are going to love the 2017 Disney Dining Plan.  As the mom of a picky 11-year-old son, I can certainly understand your concern.

Although it is up to the discretion of each restaurant, I have found the servers at Table-Service restaurants work very hard to accommodate Guests with dining requests to ensure they have a magical dining experience.  My son has been allowed to order an adult portion of a kids' menu item when we have asked. I recommend talking to your server at any restaurant that your daughter prefers the kids' menu items over the adult selections to see if he/she can accommodate her.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Amy!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
