Hi there, we are visiting later this year as a group of 10 (two families). Are we able to: Have each families tickets on separate devices? Link the tickets to each others accounts in order to book Lightening Passes for the entire group with Genie+?

Greetings to you, Paige, thanks for stopping by planDisney!

How exciting to have a big group visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m happy to share more about traveling with a large party, our immediate family consists of seven people, so I can understand the need for coordinating all the things!

You can link everyone’s tickets into each other’s devices to ensure Genie+ Service and Lightning Lane selections can be made for the entire party at once. To do so, just scan each other’s tickets into your “Tickets and Passes” once you download the Disneyland app or manually link them through the website using the barcode ID on each ticket. Once you’re all linked, the fun begins!

One tip is when you make dining reservations separate the families but ask if you can be seated together or near each other. Sometimes it's easier to find reservations that way. If you want a guaranteed table to fit you’ll need to contact them early to see if they can accommodate a large party, and keep in mind that for parties with eight or more guests, gratuity will be automatically included in your final meal check.

There is so much magic happening at the Disneyland Resort this summer, so if you are visiting before August 4, you’ll be able to experience Pixar Fest, celebrating friendship and beyond! With new live entertainment and specialty food and beverages, it is a fun and colorful celebration across both parks! Everyone in your party will have something to enjoy, that’s for sure! I hope all this helps you and your travel party get linked up and ready for the magic, Paige. Make sure you’re following Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland on Instagram so you can keep up with all the new happenings! If you have any other questions before your arrival, feel free to send me another message!

    Magic awaits!
