Visiting Jun'09. Currently at POP-2A and 4K (20, 19, 16, 10) in 2 connecting rooms. Considering upgrading to Port Orleans FQ or RS (bigger rooms-smaller resort) but more $. Basing move on transportation. Which would offer us better/faster/easier bussing?

    Adrian,

I would not suggest that the move you outline here will save you that much time in transportation. However, I would still say that it is a good idea, based on room space. You are talking about 6 people squeezed into some comparably small rooms at Pop Century, and I think that the extra space that you would get at the Moderate resort would probably be well worth the extra money.

Also, to be able to let your older kids hop on the boat from Port Orleans and go to Downtown Disney is a real plus. They can go there to shop, dine, play and explore, and you can relax back at the hotel.

So, for the extra hotel room space, the more featured resort grounds that offer them more to do, and the quick and easy 'escape' to Downtown Disney, I would say do it! If you can afford the move up to the Port Orleans you should definitely try.

    Have a magical vacation!
