We are visiting in July 26, we have 4 kids, 2 under 9. Trying to plan food, Say we go to the Warming Hut for lunch at Blizzard Beach, the ONLY kids meal option is a turkey sandwich, but the 7 year old doesn't eat this, what are our options?

Ice to meet you, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney!

With its super-cool theming and splashtastic water slides, Disney's Blizzard Beach is a thrilling, chilling place to hang out! While Disney's water parks are best known for attractions like Summit Plummet and the Toboggan Racers, Blizzard Beach is also home to some pretty incredible food. In fact, I recently visited with my pal JoAnna, and I was so impressed by the delicious lunch I had at Lottawatta Lodge!

Still, I'm a mom of two, so I completely understand the struggle of finding food to make everyone happy. My 5-year-old is a notoriously picky eater, and it can be quite the challenge to keep him fed and full! Fortunately, there are always plenty of options in Walt Disney World, including at Blizzard Beach. Honestly, one of my favorite things about Disney World is knowing that everyone always eats, and I don't have to plan it, cook it, or clean it up!

Jennifer, I'm happy to share that Blizzard Beach actually has several dining options to choose from. While most locations offer the Turkey Sandwich Kids' Pack, you will find a few more Kids' Meal options over at Lottawatta Lodge. This includes Chicken Strips and a Rice Bowl with Chicken and Vegetables.

If neither of these fits the bill, consider ordering a regular entrée for your 7-year-old. This significantly expands your options to things like Cheeseburgers and Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strips at Lottawatta Lodge, and Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza at Arctic Expeditions. If you're using the Disney Dining Plan, you can either pay out of pocket for their meal or use an adult dining credit to cover their order.

As a last resort, you can always pack your kiddo's favorites to bring along with you! Guests are permitted to bring food into the park. Just remember to leave glass containers at home, since those are prohibited per the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules

I hope you have snow much fun at Blizzard Beach, Jennifer! If you have any other questions as you plan your magical adventure, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    Magical travels,
