We are visiting for the first time in September and wondered if the Disney parks souvenir shops were Canadian debit card friendly? I don't want to carry cash or use my credit card. I am hoping that all of the Disney area accepts Canadian debit cards.

Hi Sue! Lucky you to soon be enjoying your first Disney vacation! I have not had any luck in using my Canadian bank debit card at Disney World. You might have more luck if your bank is linked with US banks. Have you considered travellers cheques? If you're staying at a Disney resort, you can put cash or a credit card to your Key to the World card, which would then give you access to your resort room, theme park tickets as well as room charging privileges all on the one card.

Hope this helps Sue! Wishing you a magical vacation!
