We are visiting for the first time in about a month. Is there any reason why a first-timer might want to NOT utilize the online check-in service? Would we miss some information if we check-in online? What about room requests? Thanks! You are great!

Hi, Elizabeth! Thanks for the kind words. Online check-in is a good time saver. You are not going to miss any information because you will still receive a welcome packet with all your pertinent information in it when you visit the online check-in counter to get your Key to the World cards (room key, park tickets, and dining plan card, if applicable).  I would use it unless I had a specific request that cannot be noted during online check-in.  You should be aware that there are only four room request choices when you do online check-in.  They are for 1.) ground floor, 2.) near transportation, 3.) a child's Pack 'n Play Playard, or 4.) to add a refrigerator. If you need to request something besides one of those four, I would definitely check-in with a Cast Member upon arrival to try to secure the room I want.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
