Hi All, We are visiting for the first time and have know idea of travel times. We have appt at the salon in Downtown Disney at 12.50pm and managed to get a booking at Epcots Banquet Hall at 3pm, what is the travel time between them please. x

Hi Zoe! What a fun princess-filled afternoon you're planning! Traveling to the parks from Downtown Disney can be a little tricky because the Disney buses do not offer direct transportation to the parks. Your appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will likely take 45 minutes to an hour, so you'll have about an hour to reach your reservation at Epcot. To get there, you can take a bus from Downtown Disney to one of the Epcot area hotels: Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Beach Club, or Swan and Dolphin. Just take the first bus that comes for one of those resorts. When you reach the resort, you can walk over to Epcot. The bus ride ideally takes 20 to 30 minutes, and the walk takes 5 to 10 minutes. You'll enter Epcot at the International Gateway between the France and United Kingdom pavilions. You'll need to walk to the opposite side of the World Showcase to reach your dining reservation at Akershus, and this walk could take 15 minutes or so.

If you're late getting out of your Boutique appointment, or if you want a more direct route to Epcot, you could take a cab from Downtown Disney and be at the park in about 20 minutes. I've found that the buses from Downtown Disney can be somewhat slow during the day, and they sometimes stop at one of the water parks in addition to the resorts, making the trip longer. For this reason, I think I'd recommend that you take a cab unless you finish up quickly at the Boutique. That way, you won't be in a frantic rush trying to reach your dining reservation.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
