Hi Jocelyn,
How exciting that you're bringing your kiddos to the most magical place on earth for the first time! There are SO MANY amazing things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort, so please don't feel like you need to do
everything. The best and most important part of the vacation is the time spent with your family, and I promise that experiencing the magic with your kiddos and through their eyes will be your very favorite part of your vacation.
It sounds like you already have some wonderful plans lined up! Without knowing how long you'll be staying, what theme parks you'll be visiting, and what your kiddos' interests are, I'll share some of
our must-do's, but definitely feel free to write back and ask for more ideas if your Mouseketeers have specific interests! I'd recommend arriving early to Magic Kingdom Park to see the Let the Magic Begin show and experiencing the attractions in Fantasyland before the crowds pick up. To me, the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After are both SPECTACULAR, and I definitely wouldn't miss those! If you'll be visiting Epcot, a ride on The Seas with Nemo & Friends and visit to the aquarium is always a hit. Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios is AMAZING, and the
Disney Junior Dance Party, which is coming this fall, will be awesome for little ones. Of course, the captivating shows and incredible wildlife at Disney's Animal Kingdom shouldn't be missed either! Beyond attractions, though, my family considers riding the monorail, hunting for Hidden Mickey shapes, and enjoying delicious Mickey-shaped snacks other must-do experiences on each of our Disney vacations!
Whatever
you decide to do, Jocelyn, I hope that you have a truly magical vacation with your family!
Missy
