Hello! We will be visiting family in Italy next year and was thinking about adding a quick trip to Paris. My boys will be almost 4 and 1. Is it worth it to go to Disneyland Paris?

Bonjour! Good Day! How is your family, Elisha!

I’m so glad to see you back with a question about visiting the happiest place in Europe with your tiny tots. What a magical adventure you have planned—Italy and Paris in one trip sounds like the stuff of fairy tales! Adding a visit to Disneyland Paris is like finding Lumière’s warm welcome on your journey. As a mom to two little princes myself, I can’t help but feel excited for your visit to Disneyland Paris—it’s such a special place for my family. It’s where their father proposed to me, and I can’t wait to bring them there one day to show them that piece of our story. So while I might be a little biased, I truly believe Paris is always a good idea.

Your almost 4-year-old will be delighted in Fantasyland, with storybook adventures like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Peter Pan’s Flight. And you can’t miss “it’s a small world”—it has a delightful European touch! Plus, the castle at Disneyland Paris is, in my opinion, the most beautiful one in the world! Every time I see it, I’m reminded of just how special this place is.

Now Elisha, your littlest one may not remember all the details but you sure will. Parenting is a magical adventure and watching their joy will create special moments you’ll always treasure.

If you’re considering the logistics of a quick side trip, there are many ways to travel to the resort from Paris city center. To make things easier with little ones, I recommend staying at a Disneyland Paris Hotel if your plans allow. The convenience of being steps away from the parks, as well as themed décor and character breakfasts, adds an extra sprinkle of pixie dust to your stay. Plus, having the option to return to your hotel for naps or downtime can make all the difference when exploring with toddlers.

Ultimately, a visit to Disneyland Paris is an unforgettable way to add a touch of Disney magic to your European adventure. Watching your boys’ faces light up as they experience the magic for the first time is truly priceless. And who knows? You might even start a new family tradition of visiting the Happiest Place on Earth—European edition!

Like Peter Pan pointing to the second star on the right, I hope I’ve pointed you in the right direction, Elisha. Disneyland Paris is a place where memories are made, and I know you’ll create plenty of them!

    Tu t’envoles!
