Hi! We are visiting as a family for the first time this month. So excited! My question is about dining. We have purchased the quick service dining plan. What is the best way to try and satisfy everyone with different palates? I like to eat healthy.

    Hi Patty!

    A fellow Carolinian!

I love the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) and think that it is definitely the way to go to save money, time and stress!

I also eat very healthy and like to stay on track with healthy eating while on vacation. You will be pleasantly surprised by the healthy options offered throughout the parks and resorts. Many of the Quick Service locations allow you to substitute French Fries and dessert for fruit. For example, at Pecos Bills at the Magic Kingdom you can get grapes instead of french fries and apples instead of carrot cake. You can also fill up with lettuce and salsa from the burger bar, to add some veggies to your meal.

You will also see fresh fruit at many of the stands throughout the park and you can use your snack credit to purchase those.

All of the resorts also have healthy options. My favorite is the build your own Greek yogurt parfait at Art of Animation. There are also a great selection of fruits and veggies.

To satisfy different tastes, my family will often order from different places. This is especially fun at Epcot because we travel around the world and order one meal from several of the Quick Service locations and then share. This allows you to try a variety of food and have just a tasting portion so you don't overdo the calories.

I love talking about Disney Dining so let me know if you have any other questions about maximizing your DDP when you visit!
