Hello Suzy,
Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help and happy to do so. While The Hollywood Brown Derby, located in Disney's Hollywood Studios, is considered a Fine/Signature Dining experience, it adheres to the
dress code of the Walt Disney World theme parks. In other words, come as you are, it is unnecessary for you to return to your resort to change. As long as you are wearing appropriate family friendly clothing and are not wearing a Disney character costume, then you are practically perfect.
However, there is a small list of Fine/Signature Disney dining establishments, located in some of the Walt Disney World Resorts, which adhere to a stricter dress code.
Men may wear khakis, slacks, jeans or dress shorts and collared shirts. Sport coats are optional. Women may wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses, jeans or dress shorts. Not permitted are tank tops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics. Below is a list of restaurants, in which Guests need to take into account what to wear.
Artist Point
California Grill
Cítricos
Flying Fish
Narcoossee's
Jiko- The Cooking Place
Yachtsman Steakhous
Victoria & Albert's, located in the beautiful setting of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, does require men to
wear dinner jackets with dress pants or slacks and shoes, ties are optional. Women may wear a cocktail dress, nice dress, dressy pant suit or a skirt with a blouse. However, jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes are not permitted. If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
