Visiting Easter 2010, what is the best park for that day, and do any restaurants do anything special for Easter. Thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

I can think of no better place to enjoy the Easter holiday than Disney World.

The best park to visit on a busy holiday like Easter is Epcot. The park has a much larger area for guests to use so the crowds seem smaller here and the flow is better due to the bigger walkways. The park is laid out in a more circular design (think figure eight) than the other parks so the crowds tend to disperse here to the various buildings, attractions and countries.

There are so many great things to see and do inside Epcot, that you could easily fill a whole day with the various attractions and shows. We especially love to stroll the World Showcase and enjoy the very talented performers from the different countries. The other advantage here is the numerous restaurants you will have to select from for your meals. Each country features a specialized restaurant with selections from their homeland and they are all delicious!

I have not heard yet what special meals may be in the works for 2010, but I can tell you that this past Easter there was a fantastic brunch that was offered in the World Showcase Pavilion at Epcot (in between Canada and the UK). The selection included various stations including salads, pasta, chicken, beef, eggs, omeletes, vegetables, breads, soup, fruit, desserts and much more. The price was approximately $47 for guests 10 and up and around $20 for ages 3-9.

A number of other locations like Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Faire and Cape May Cafe also offered a special holiday menu on the buffets that day. If you go to www.allears.net and in the search box type Easter, you will be able to view a selection of the menus. I would expect to find similar plans for 2010.

Hope you have an amazing time!
