I am visiting DW for 1st time, have made several reservations and am not sure the distance btwn locations, how long it REALLY takes using DW transport. How far from Hollywood Studios to Cape May Cafe and is there a short cut in between the two?

Hi again Cassie! We want your first trip to Walt Disney World to be magical, so please don't hesitate to ask us for help! You're already off to a great start!  The Cape May Cafe is a very good restaurant, and it is actually quite close to Hollywood Studios. Just outside the gates of Hollywood Studios, you'll find a dock at which you can catch a boat to the Beach Club resort, where the Cape May Cafe is located. You can also walk to the Beach Club from Hollywood Studios, but the boat ride is more relaxing. Whether you're walking or riding, it will take about 25 minutes to get there.

You're very smart to be considering the amount of time it will take you to travel around Disney World, as that can be an important planning tool. You might want to consult the unofficial site www.ourlaughingplace.com, which has a Transportation Wizard that gives you routes and approximate travel times between various Disney locations.

Hope this helps, Cassie! Wishing you a magical first visit to Disney World!
