I will be visiting DW this summer and we purchased the basic dining plan. I am traveling with my parents as well as my husband & 2 kids. I am afraid my father will want to upgrade. Can you do this while at the report or purchase additional credits?

Your dining plan must be finalized BEFORE you arrive at WDW, changes cannot be made while you are at the resort. If you'd like to make a change to your plan you should do so now by calling 407-W-DISNEY.

If it's only the one member of your party that you think would like a different plan, or if you want to wait to see how it goes, you could always just have your dad order more food and pay for it separately. In addition to the Dining Plan, all the Disney restaurants also take credit cards, travelers checks, Disney gift cards, Disney dollars, and good old cash. If your father wants an extra meal, or an additional meal component (for example, he wants an appetizer that's not included on the plan) he could just order it and pay for it. This way, you wouldn't have to decide in advance.

    Hope this helps.
