Visiting DW Jan. 28-30 (after our Disney Cruise). Is it necessary to make Fantasmic! Dinner Pkg reservations, or is this a less crowded time of year? Also, approx. how long is the bus ride from Carribean Beach Resort to Magic Kingdom at this time of yr?

Hi, Kelly!  If it's possible, I always recommend the Fantasmic! dinner package for guests wanting to enjoy Fantasmic! without having to line up an hour before the show begins.  Even though the crowd level in late January should be a bit lighter, the show itself is wildly popular, so it's a good bet that you'll find a line quite long whether or not you go during an off peak time.

If you would rather skip the dinner package, just be prepared to get a spot in line fairly early.  I don't think I've ever gotten a bad seat for Fantasmic!, but I usually have the family head over there pretty early.  We'll send my husband to grab some fruit and the kids are usually pretty content to stand there snacking while we wait.

The bus ride once you leave the Caribbean Beach resort to the Magic Kingdom is about 15 minutes.  You would have to add time to that based on where you are picked up and how many additional stops the bus has to make before it actually heads out to the Magic Kingdom.

Have a great vacation, and enjoy the cruise!  If you have questions about your upcoming cruise, we have a couple of cruise mom experts on the panel!  Karen and Kim are both veterans of many Disney Cruise Line voyages, and they would be happy to help plan your upcoming trip!
