We will be visiting during the time of the last MVMCP on Dec 18th. We will also be at MK during our trip on Dec 22nd. My question is should we purchase the tickets for the 18th or are party events happening on the 22nd without the need to buy tickets?

    Hi Jennifer,
One of my favorite special events at the Walt Disney World Resort is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP)! The decorations, the snow on Main Street, U.S.A., the cookies and hot cocoa and an incredible parade-it's a great time for kids of all ages (and adults too, of course)! I would purchase tickets for the event on December 18 if you are interested in participating in this special event as soon as they are available. You will be able to view Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks display during your visit on December 22. However, note that the Magic Kingdom is known for being very crowded at that time of year and you'll benefit from much smaller crowds by attending MVMCP, as this is a limited ticket event and once the tickets are sold out, no additional tickets are released.

Enjoy your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation and come back and see us if you have any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
