Visiting during Christmas time this year and have made candlelight dining reservations. Not thrilled about having to use 2 dining credits for a 1 credit dining location. Do you highly reccommend the dining res w/candlelight, or can we get good seats w/o?

Hi, Michelle!  If you are going during a really busy time, like Thanksgiving weekend or Christmas week, I cannot recommend enough that you keep your dinner package reservation.  The shows are wildly popular, and you will find that after seating the guests with dinner packages, the seating in the theater will be very limited.  You'll also notice that stand-by guests begin lining up well in advance of the shows, so you'll lose quite a bit of park time if you stand in the line.

If you have chosen to go at a less busy time - say, after Thanksgiving and up to the weekend before Christmas - you may find you will have decent options for seating after package guests have been seated.  I still see people lining up well in advance, but you are more likely to find seats if you go during a less busy time.

As an alternative, you can pay out of pocket for your Candlelight Processional dinner package, instead of using your dining credits.  This will give you an extra meal to use somewhere else, and you won't feel that you've used credits that you needed for somewhere else.

    Have a great vacation!
