Bright suns, Tracy! I hear you're planning to visit Batuu, which is the perfect place for smugglers and rogue traders like yourself. Hopefully, Finn and Rey can recruit you to be part of the Resistance during your stay.
Oga's Cantina is a must-do stop in Black Spire Outpost located inside
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Pulsating beats spun by the resident droid, DJ R-3X, set a fun, lively mood. The interior is intimate (synonym for small), and the first thing you'll notice is the circular bar surrounded by high-top tables that are standing-room-only. There are also a limited number of booths perfect for large groups, but these can be hard to come by.
Oga's size makes it a tough reservation to get, and some have speculated that you need to use some Jedi mind tricks to get in. Splitting your party of 8 into two groups of 4 will increase your chances of success. I suggest asking someone else in your traveling party to create their own Disneyland account and have them try to book one of the reservations close to the same time as you. Then, when you check-in at the Cantina, ask if it's possible to be seated together.
For Disneyland dining reservations, the booking window opens 60 days in advance. Afternoon and evening reservations at Oga's are extremely popular, but many guests don't realize that you can also enjoy breakfast here, and these times may be more readily available. If you don't find a reservation time that suits your schedule, don't despair! I've found that it's common for guests to change their plans last minute, allowing reservations to open up the closer you get to your trip, so keep checking the Disneyland website. You can also try the
Walk-Up List; join it in the
Disneyland app on your "datapad" when you are nearby.
I hope these tips help you enjoy that Fuzzy Tauntaun or Blue Bantha Milk in a couple of months, Tracy. May the Force be With You!
