Visiting Disneyland for the first time and looking for information on the "good neighbor hotels" list? Any recommendations on which is the best to stay at, which is closest to the parks, which ones are walkable to the parks, etc.?

    Hi Lisa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of my favorite things about visiting Disneyland Resort is the walkability of just about everything!

On the Disneyland Resort website you can actually find a comprehensive list of all the Good Neighbor Hotels and you even have the option to sort by distance to Disneyland Resort. I think you'll find that most of those listed as across the street are very walkable. I've mapped those that are less than a half mile to give you an idea of the locations of your best options. The three closest I would recommend are Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn, Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini Suites and Tropicana Inn & Suites. You'll find with these three that you can practically see the entrance onto Disneyland Resort property from the main lobby. Looking at the map, you'll enter on the sidewalk directly across from Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini Suites, just to give you a point of reference.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please come back if we can help in any other way.
