Hello, Julie!
Welcome back to planDisney. I'm glad my pal Corey was able to answer one of your questions, and now it's my turn!
If
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is in your budget, then I say go for it! I would probably purchase it for the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. I have a friend who visits Disneyland almost every Thanksgiving and says that wait times on the actual holiday are often fairly low in her experience.
I visited right before Thanksgiving last year, and the busiest day seemed to be that Wednesday, which is the day that we left. I stuck with
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for my family's trip, and we were able to use it a lot during our vacation. With that in mind, Lightning Lane Multi Pass can sell out during busy holiday weekends, so try to get into the parks early to purchase it (if you didn't get it when you bought your theme park tickets).
You could also use both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass on the same day. I would probably only recommend doing that if you had limited time in the parks, but it is a great option to plan a perfect Disney day! Lightning Lane Premier Pass does have limited availability and can be purchased on the
Disneyland app up to 7 days before your park visit, starting at 7:00 AM PT. Just make sure to purchase your park tickets and make park reservations before then.
If you are looking for a traditional Thanksgiving meal during your visit, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland social media channels for any offerings. Last year,
Great Maple Modern American Eatery within Pixar Place Hotel offered a three-course meal that included turkey and all the fixings.
Goofy's Kitchen and
Storytellers Cafe also offered fun holiday meals during my Thanksgiving trip.
Julie, enjoy your visit to Disneyland! If you have more questions, please send them our way.
Magic Happens!
Jen
