It’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to see you at planDisney, Katie! I love it when a fellow Texan stops by with a question for us!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is sure to be practically perfect in every way, especially because you’re staying at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It’s one of my very favorite places in the world! While you’re there, do be sure to take a moment to relax in the comfortable couches in the gorgeous lobby while the pianist plays Disney tunes. And I do hope you check out the breakfast at the
Grand Floridian Cafe; they serve the most delicious French toast dish I have ever had, and while it may not be on the menu, the chef will make it if you ask!
Katie, I’m so glad you asked this question; as a breastfeeding or pumping mama, we want you to be as comfortable as you can be and most certainly without any worries during your vacation. You’ll find the 1, 2, or 3 bedroom villas at
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa come equipped with a freezer.
However, in case you are not staying in the Disney Vacation Club property, I also reached out to the front desk at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. As Mary Poppins puts it, “…every task you undertake becomes a piece of cake,” they told me they would be happy to store your breast milk in a freezer for you. To do this, please label your bags and place them in a storage bag or cooler and bring it to Bell Services. Let them know you’d like them to store them in the freezer for you until your departure, and feel free to add more bags to your storage bag or cooler as often as you need to each day.
Since you’ll be coming with a baby Mouseketeer, I’d love to tell you about the
Baby Care Centers, which are located in every theme park. They provide private places to pump milk or nurse the baby, large and clean changing tables, and even a small shop should you need to stock up on anything. It’s been a wonderful haven for me when my guys were smaller!
I hope you have an enchanting vacation, Katie!
