Visiting Disney World 1st week of February. Has Pick A Pearl in Epcot’s Japan reopened yet?

Hiya, Angela! Thank you for bringing this great question to us at planDisney.

I'm so happy to be talking about one of my favorite places in the world – well, Walt Disney World Resort, that is! EPCOT is a great destination for so many reasons, from the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts to the thrilling attractions, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Of course, there's also the ability to explore activities from different countries, like the Pick-A-Pearl experience at the Japan Pavilion.

Angela, I'm sorry to say that the Pick-A-Pearl opportunity hasn't returned at this time. However, if a pearl experience is something your heart desires, I'd recommend making a trip to the Pearl Factory Kiosk - Disney Springs Marketplace! You can select an oyster, find a pearl, and place it in a unique jewelry setting. This is a great way to customize a very special souvenir! And if you decide to stop at Disney Springs, be sure that you grab a few "almost half pound" cookies and The Original Peanut Butter Cold Brew from Gideon's Bakehouse, or make a reservation for my favorite restaurant – Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'!

No matter where you go and what you do, you're sure to have an extra special visit, Angela! And if you have any other questions, please visit us again.

You've got a friend in me!
