Visiting Disney world with my son, (10yrs) in March. Want a two day pass and go to two parks. Which two? I've never been either. Want good rides, shows and food. Help??

    Hello, Michelle!

A first Walt Disney World Resort vacation is an extra magical experience, and I am so happy you chose to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! For your first visit, I recommend that you and your son visit Magic Kingdom Park and either Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for the second day.

    Choose Disney's Hollywood Studios if:
Your son likes action and adventure, and can handle super-thrilling rides (like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror). This theme park also has awesome stunt-themed entertainment, like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. My family's favorite attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios are Toy Story Midway Mania! (a midway-style interactive ride) and Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, and there truly is something for everyone in the family to enjoy here.

Choose Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park if:
Your son likes to take a walk on the wild side with exotic animals and destinations. Kilimanjaro Safaris and various animal exploration trails offer exciting opportunitites to get up close to animals. DINOSAUR, Kali River Rapids, and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain provide a thrilling ride experience. Festival of the Lion King is my family's favorite live performance at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you won't want to miss it! Your little adventurer can also participate in the free Wilderness Explorers activity while you both explore the park, adding an extra bit of fun to your experience.

I hope you have a magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Michelle! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your trip. We would love to hEAR from you!
