I am visiting Disney World in September. Can you tell me when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween starts. I know it's in September sometime, but not sure when exactly. I already purchased the park hopper. Would I need to buy a special ticket for this event?

Hi, Kelly! Since I don't have Madame Leota's crystal ball, I can only tell you that last year, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets went on sale May 1, 2011, and the dates for the parties are usually released just prior to that time as well.  Keep an eye on the DisneyParks blog for that information. While you are there, sign up for their daily email.  It's the best way to stay current on all things Disney Park related.  In the meantime, you can make educated guesses at the Halloween party nights by looking at the Magic Kingdom calendar for September and seeing when the park is scheduled to close at 7:00 P.M.  It's not a guarantee, but it's a pretty good estimate. Yes, you will need to purchase separate tickets for this event.  It is not included in the regular theme park (even with Park Hopper) tickets.  It is called a "hard ticket" event and requires a ticket purchased just for it.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
