We are visiting Disney World from September 2-16 and planning to visit Magic Kingdom on September 8. There are currently no times listed for the Starlight Parade that day, does that mean it won’t be happening or are the times still TBC?

Hey Ben, welcome back to planDisney!

Your Disney vacation is coming up soon, and I understand wanting to know if you’ll be finding a spot to watch the new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade, or if you should spend that time entering the grid on TRON

Walt Disney World has already announced that Starlight will not be available on evenings when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be hosted in Magic Kingdom. However, September 8 is not a Halloween party night, so the parade should be taking place! I asked a Cast Member and they informed me that the parade schedule has not been posted yet, and we should see the schedule posted soon! At the time I am writing this answer, the Magic Kingdom Park hours for today are 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Starlight runs at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. When I look ahead on the Hours & Events Calendar for September 8, 2025, Magic Kingdom hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so keep an eye on the schedule to see if parade times are adjusted according to those hours.

Sorry I didn’t have an exact schedule to share with you, Ben. But we can keep the countdown to your vacation exciting by checking the Hours & Events Calendar in the days leading up to your visit! If you have any more questions, come back and see us again at planDisney!
