Hi Melissa,
How exciting that you are going to be at
Walt Disney World During the Holidays! You must have been very good this year, because what a gift that will be!
If you haven't visited the "Most Magical Place on Earth" during the most wonderful time of the year, you are in for a special treat. Not only are the theme parks and the Disney Resort hotels all decorated in their holiday best, but there are special holiday activities during this time as well. New at Magic Kingdom Park will be the "
Frozen Holiday Surprise" which will illuminate Cinderella Castle in a whole new way. Over at Disney's Animal Kingdom there will be the return of the arctic puppets of the Merry Menagerie. Disney's Hollywood Studios is also quite fabulous this time of the year, and the Hollywood Tower Hotel will be transformed each night with holiday projections. EPCOT even has its own
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays with so much to see, do, and of course - taste!
You will be happy to know that although there is no official date for the removal of the holiday decorations, in the past they have stayed up until New Year's Day. Since you will be visiting during the week of Christmas you should be able to do a lot of great holiday sightseeing while you are there. In my experience, most of the decorations are usually gone by the time for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which this next year is January 3-7, 2024.
Melissa not only are the theme parks beautifully decorated for the holidays, but you will also find many gorgeous decorations at
Disney Springs and at the Disney Resort hotels - especially at the Deluxe Resorts. If seeing holiday decorations brings joy to your heart as much as it does mine, you might want to visit the Deluxe Resort hotels to see them for yourself.
I hope this information helps you with your vacation plans! Have a Magical vacation and please let us know if we can help answer any more vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
