Hello! We are visiting Disney world next month :) Although we have visited before, this is our first time on the dining plan. What are some of the best ways to utilize the snack credits (in the parks, at our resort WL, and other places like DD and BW?

    Hi Shannon!

Snacks are the best part of the DDP, in my humble opinion!! Although the DDP does not list the snack options, they are plentiful throughout the theme parks. You will be able to note the snack options at each cart or dining are as they are clearly marked snack point. I have compiled a small list of snacks per park below that I think are the best options!

Magic Kingdom: Chocolate Chip cookies, Dole Whip soft serve, whole fruit, muffins, fruit smoothies, bottled water, French fries, Edys Dibbs ice cream nuggets. For something on the healthier side, you can opt for steamed broccoli and couscous or Cucumber salad or chicken noodle soup. Your credit can also go towards a litany of baked goods, from brownies to Key Lime cheesecake.

Epcot: Churros in Mexico, School Bread and Pretzels in Norway, Caramel dipped strawberries or Caramel corn and Pretzels in Germany, Chili and Brownie Mousse in America, Kaki Gori (Shaved Ice with fruit Syrups...definitely a must do!) or Miso Soup and Edamame in Japan, Baklava in Morocco, Pastries in France, Side of Chips and Shortbread in United Kingdom, Ice Cream and Pretzels in Canada.

Animal Kingdom: ice cream varieties to egg rolls and Chinese rice. From sundaes to funnel cakes. Also available are pretzels, fruit cups, popcorn, pastries and a variety of beverages.

Hollywood Studios: ice cream, pretzels, slushies, cupcakes, fudge, nachos with cheese, and a variety of pastries. For a healthier option, they offer yogurt, fruit cups, granola bars, trail mix, pita chips and carrot and celery sticks with ranch dressing.

Downtown Disney:  pretzels, ice cream, cupcakes, cakes, and candy at the Candy Cauldron...YUMMY!

This should give you a better idea of the many, many ways a snack credit can be used.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
