visiting disney world next december, for the 3rd time (first time for our 4 year old). we have always used the quick service meals 2 to 3 times per day but have never used the quick service plan. does it really save you money with 2 kids, not eating much

    Hi Jon,

I have been to Walt Disney World both using the Disney Dining Plan and not. Each time I weighed the cost of the plan against paying for the meals out of pocket.

However, one of the best times to use the Disney Dining Plan is when children are under the age of 9. The price of the plan makes it an easy choice for families. In general, the price of the meal plan for a child is slightly more than a quick service meal for a child. Plus you still have snacks and other meals to round out the price.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
