    Hi, we are visiting Disney World this June and have reservations at Port Orleans. Will they send us our MagicBands or do we need to purchase them ourselves? Thank you

    Hi, Deborah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending in this great question. All guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can customize and have sent to their home a complimentary MagicBand for each guest in their party. You will want to quickly head on over to the MagicBands and Cards section of My Disney Experience, as I bet your MagicBands will be ready to ship to you soon! My younger daughter and I are heading to Walt Disney World Resort in June and ours just shipped yesterday. So hop on over there so you can pick out your favorite color!

    There are some really fun colors available at this time - purple, red, blue, orange, yellow, green, and grey. After you pick out your color, you can assign each person a different name for their MagicBand. My daughters are always eager to come up with a unique name for each trip, such as their nickname, their favorite Disney character's name, or even something to remind them of that specific trip. Once you complete customization, you can confirm your mailing address or choose to have the MagicBands shipped to your Resort hotel.

    If you prefer something even more pixie-dusted, you can shop for a MagicBand before or during your trip. There are lots of MagicBands available on shopDisney, the Shop Disney Parks mobile app, and at merchandise locations all across Walt Disney World Resort. You do have the option of declining the solid-colored MagicBands during customization and instead purchasing some extra magical ones to use during the trip.
