We will be visiting Disney World in January 2020 and our daughter is bringing a friend, so they want their own space since they are both college age. The suites can be expensive so we were thinking of getting two rooms in a Moderate hotel.

    Hi Mei!

I can totally relate! With two college-age kids in our family, space and privacy are highly valued! Add in their friends, and it can make for a tight squeeze in many resort rooms!

I think the plan to get two separate rooms at a Moderate resort is great! Not only will you have two sleeping areas, but you'll have two full bathrooms. That can be such a time-saver when you're getting ready to head to the parks. Plus, if your daughter and friend like to keep later hours than you, they won't have to worry about disturbing you when they get in. That's a great perk!

In the Moderate Resort category, I can highly recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Not only will you feel the island vibes, but you'll have great amenities as well: great dining, a zero-entry pool AND access to the Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner is the newest mode of resort transportation at Walt Disney World. In just a few minutes, it can transport you directly from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios or over to Epcot after a quick visit to Disney's Riviera Resort. The ease of theme park access can't be beat.

I hope you have a great time on your trip! Be sure to let the Disney Parks Moms Panel know if we can help with more planning details!
