We are visiting Disney World in Jan. 17. We have a family of 9. I want to purchase the memory maker but I`m not sure if it will work for us. We plan to split up for most of the rides due to age differences. Will everyone get a band or card ?

Hi, Rhonda! Sounds like you have an unforgettable adventure planned for your family! I am glad you are thinking of purchasing Memory Maker, as you are sure to have so many great pictures by the end of your trip. There are hundreds of locations across Walt Disney World Resort where you will find the Disney PhotoPass photographers. With Memory Maker, you will even have access to on-ride photos and videos. So, while you may miss out on the big drop through the Briar Patch with some of your family, you will still be able to share in the thrill of Splash Mountain via their on-ride pictures.

To make sure everyone in your family is able to access the Memory Maker entitlement, the person in your group who purchases Memory Maker will need to link it to their My Disney Experience account, and then link each Guest in the group to the account. When each Guest, their park ticket, and optional MagicBand are linked to your Family & Friends list, then anyone who stops by a PhotoPass location or enjoys an attraction that features on-ride memories will have their picture or video magically added to the Memory Maker.  When linking Guests to the account, be sure to check the option to allow sharing of photos for all people. If everyone in your party does not have a MagicBand, they can have the PhotoPass photographer scan their park ticket or use one of the PhotoPass cards given by the photographer. You can later add the PhotoPass cards to your Memory Maker account on the Disney PhotoPass website, where you can see all of the fantastic pictures and videos from your trip.

I hope you have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, and please let us know if you have any further questions!
