Hello, We are going to be visiting Disney World for our first time From Feb. 6th-13th. There will be 2 adults and 2 children. I am wondering if it is too cold this time of year to take advantage of the pools and if it is typically shorts weather or not.

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation, Jody!  Your visit to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is just around the corner! The average high temperature for Orlando in February is traditionally in the low 70s with the average low temperature in the upper 40s. With that being said, it can be quite difficult to predict the weather forecast during the winter months. I visited Walt Disney World two weeks ago and experienced high temperatures in the low 80s and the low temperature around 61-62 degrees.  There were definitely guests swimming in our Disney Resort pool and many wearing shorts during our weekend getaway. I am happy to tell you that the pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated year round so I would definitely pack your swimsuits. You will want to bring items that you can layer for those early mornings and late evenings when the temperature is lowest.  I would also recommend checking the Orlando forecast in the days leading up to your trip so that you can pack accordingly. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. I would love to assist you in planning a magical first trip!
    Happy Packing,
    Jodie
