Hello Rebecca,
Christmas morning, in your house, is definitely going to be a magical moment. My children were beyond excited when I surprised them a couple of years ago with an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World and I have yet to top that Christmas present since.
I gifted two boxes for both for my son and daughter. The first box was small and had a puzzle in it, they were instructed to assemble the puzzle. The puzzle was a picture of Mickey and his Pals standing in front of Cinderella Castle and above them it said, "You're going to Walt Disney World on (
insert date)." I made this puzzle on Snapfish. Once the puzzle was assembled and my daughter read it to my son, they naturally were ecstatic. The second box consisted of a countdown calendar (I went on Pinterest for ideas), the Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids 2012 (there is a more recent addition), the Hidden Mickey's: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets,
free customized maps of each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, coordinating tie dyed Disney shirts for the ENTIRE family (ordered from an Etsy shop called Swirly Sensations), autograph books and pens, a Star Wars and cupcake vinylmation (they collect and trade them) and an itinerary of which Walt Disney World theme parks, dining experiences and special events we would be experiencing and on what day. I think I was more excited gifting the present than them opening the present and they were EXCITED so it was a happy and blessed morning all around.
If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your Christmas morning and upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many memorable and magical moments.
