Hi, Morgan! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I see your vacation is right around the corner, and I bet you can't wait to hEAR those words, "Welcome Home!" We've stayed at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort so many times now that it truly feels like a second home, and nothing makes me happier than that distinctive green clover and aloe smell. As soon as I smell it, I know that I've arrived!
This holiday season will look a little different from years past, and from what we've been told, Christmas is coming to Walt Disney World Resort on November 6th. The
Disney Parks Blog recently published an article detailing all the festive experiences we can look forward to this Christmas, including a new look to Cinderella Castle this yEAR; I can't wait to see what she'll look like dressed up in a whimsical yuletide sweater! The good news is that
Santa Claus is coming to town in 2020! Even though there won't be an official meet and greet scheduled, you'll be able to see him (at a distance) at all four theme parks, and
Disney Springs,
so be good for goodness sake!
Currently, the only place to see Mickey and his pals outside of the parks is during the Breakfast à la Art held at
Topolino's Terrace at
Disney's Riviera Resort. This has become a popular character meal, and the food is stellar, as are the views. My favorite entrees are the Quiche Gruyère and the Sour Cream Waffles. Make sure you reserve this dining experience at your magical 60-day mark! If you're willing to dine in the parks, Minnie Mouse will be hosting a holiday gathering for all her friends at
Hollywood & Vine in
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Santa Goofy will be there in his Christmas finery!
I hope all your holiday wishes come true, Morgan! Please write back if there's anything else we can do. See ya' real soon!
