    We will be visiting Disney World for Christmas this year. Our girls (8 & 16) grandparents thought that it would be a good idea to just give them Disney Gift Cards for Christmas. Are these gift cards accepted at most of the shops in and around Disney?

    That's a great idea! It will really give your girls some control over how to budget for their souvenirs.

    In answer to your question, yes, Disney gift cards are accepted at just about every store and restaurant at WDW. There may be a few smallish snack carts in the parks where the gift cards are not accepted, but otherwise I can't think of any exceptions.

    I was given a Disney gift card before my last trip to WDW. I used in several shops in the parks and the resorts and at restaurants in the shops and resorts with no problems at all.
