Visiting Disney and staying off property in Oct. I was hoping to do a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's one day, but how does parking work after the breakfast? Should I park in Magic Kingdom before breakfast and ride the monorail to breakfast?

    Heigh-Ho Katie,

M-I-C-K-E-Y WAFFLES at Chef Mickey’s!!!! Yes, please! And even better starting your morning with the culinary shenanigans of Mickey and his pals sounds practically perfect, before continuing your Jolly Holiday at Magic Kingdom park.

Because you are ending your day at Magic Kingdom, I concur, parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center is the best option. Be sure to give yourself plenty of travel time and, before boarding a tram, snap a picture of where you parked. Make sure your board the Resort Monorail for your dining destination at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. After your bellies are full and smiles are wide, you can either take a leisurely stroll to Magic Kingdom or board the Resort Monorail to whisk you away to your magical and memorable day.  When it is time to go Home and rest your sleepy head, the Express Monorail or the Ferryboat will transport you back to the trams, at the Transportation and Ticket Center, and onward to your car.

So Make a Wish, Sprinkle some Pixie Dust and start planning by making a Disney Park Pass Reservation and, 60-days prior, making a Disney Dining Reservation. Your Walt Disney World vacation is Just a Dream Away and we are here, at planDisney, are happy to help with any further assistance you may need.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
