We are visiting Disney Orlando for the first time to celebrate my daughters 21st Birthday , staying on I-Drive. We arrive 17th Nov and her birthday is on the 18th. We will be in WDW on the 18th. Any suggestions on how we can make this Special ? Thanks.

    Hi Gary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your upcoming first visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

Celebrating birthdays and first visits at Walt Disney World is quite special. You can pick up complimentary "Happy Birthday" and "My 1st Visit" Celebration buttons from City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park or at any Guest Relations, located in all four theme parks.

If your daughter does not have any Mickey Ears then I definitely suggest buying her a pair. There is a special "Happy Birthday Ear Hat" that can be found at The Chapeau at Magic Kingdom Park. For a minimal fee, she can also have her name embroidered on them.

Disney also offers 6-inch "Celebrate Today!" cakes, available in both chocolate and vanilla, at most table-service restaurants. No notice is necessary for these traditional cakes, and you can order upon arrival. You can see an example of these cakes on the Birthday Celebrations page of WaltDisneyWorld.com. Visit this page for even more ways to celebrate your special occasion.

I hope this gives you a few ideas of ways to celebrate. Please let me know if I can assist you with any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
