Hi Brian! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My youngest son was just 4 months old the first time he visited Walt Disney World Resort. Although he doesn't remember that visit,
we do - and have the most adorable photos!
You are welcome to bring your baby with you on any
attraction that is listed as "Any Height" and hold them on your lap. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how much the entire family can experience together. Of course, use your best judgement to decide which of these attractions are most suitable for your infant and your family.
For any attractions that your family would like to experience but your baby cannot ride, take advantage of
Rider Switch. This service allows one adult to wait with the non-riders, and when the rest of the party has returned after enjoying the attraction, board the attraction without needing to wait in the regular line. The waiting adult may bring up to 2 Guests with them so they won't need to ride alone. If you have others in your party, they can ride twice this way! My older kids always enjoyed getting to experience attractions once with Mom and again with Dad.
Brian, I
highly recommend making use of the
Baby Care Centers during your visit. These wonderful places offer a cool, quiet place to tend to your baby's needs. You'll find changing and feeding equipment, as well as cartoons and coloring pages to occupy other children. There is also a small shop with baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, and formula.
I hope that helps! Check out some of these
tips from the Moms Panel on traveling with an infant, and please visit us again if you have any additional questions as you
plan your visit.
Have a wonderful vacation!
Anne Marie
