We are visiting Disney in March for our first time! We have 2 boys (4 and 7) and will be staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. We want to make dinner reservations now and are wondering which are the MUST DO dining experiences for this age? Thanks!

    Hi Carmen,

Caribbean Beach Resort is the place my husband and I honeymooned 20 years ago. It was fun to visit it again a few years ago with our daughters.

Dining is always a personal preference. When our girls were those ages, we ate in a variety of restaurants from character meals at Crystal Palace to fine dining at California Grill. I recommend trying something new and limiting character meals.

Some of our favorite restaurants are Teppan Edo in Japan, Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club, Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge and Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I recommend making your dinner reservations as close to your regular dining time to keep your family on track. Most restaurants have a standard children's menu and at least one item unique to its location.

Also, try dining outside of the parks to give you a break from the crowds and explore the resorts. Downtown Disney also offer great dining like Wolfgang Puck, Bongos or T-Rex if you boys like dinosaurs.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
