Hi we are visiting Disney land Paris in May 2025 and are trying to reserve viewing for the night time show. Would it be possible to help with this. Many thanks Alison

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Alison! Thank you for visiting us with your question today about your upcoming holiday to Disneyland Paris. There is nothing like having a countdown to a Disney Destination and all the excitement it brings, and I share your countdown with my own visit to Disneyland Paris this May.

The Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular has only recently debuted this year. This promises to be the biggest show yet, featuring fireworks, water and light effects, drones, and projections on both Sleeping Beauty Castle and the facades of the Main Street, U.S.A. buildings. I have avoided spoilers ALL YEAR, as I really want to experience it for the first time in person.

Now, it’s no surprise that the reserved viewing areas are both limited and extremely popular, often selling out. Guests with a Hotel + Ticket Package booked directly with Disneyland Paris can book this experience at the time of booking (or as soon as it becomes available) or add it later via the Disneyland Paris website. Reservations will appear in the app seven days before arrival for all Guests.

If you booked with Disneyland Paris directly, log in to your account to add the experience to your package. If you booked indirectly (including through Walt Disney Travel Company International) be prepared 7 days before your arrival to book directly on the Disneyland Paris app

Can I share a little secret? I have never booked a reserved viewing area for the nighttime spectacular, and I have always had a great view! While I do plan to try reserved viewing one day, I’ve always enjoyed the show from various spots within the hub. Now, with projections extending down Main Street, U.S.A., watching from a little further back could offer an entirely new perspective!

My advice? Aim to secure a spot at least an hour before showtime if you’re watching from the hub. Maybe grab some snacks from Boardwalk Candy Palace to enjoy while you wait. When picking your spot, look for an area free from trees to ensure you get the best view possible. One thing I can promise you, this show will be well worth the wait!

I hope this answers your question, Alison. I wish you all the luck in the (Disney) world that you are successful in securing reserved viewing for Disney Tales of Magic! If you have any further holiday planning questions, please reach out to me. I'd love to help.

    Have a magical day!
    Matt
