We will be visiting disney - Holleywood Studios and Animal Kingdom - next week. Is it possible to get dining + show reservations to the Fantasmic show if we don’t have park passes to Magic Kingdom?

    Hiya, Louise!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. Oh boy... your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth is set to begin in just days! The countdown is almost over, and you'll soon be on your way to a world filled with imagination and wonder. I'd be happy to help you understand theme park admission requirements for different dining experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!

Louise, it sounds like you currently have theme park tickets for Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. I'm happy to inform you that Fantasmic! takes place nightly at Disney's Hollywood Studios! Therefore, you won't need a theme park ticket for Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy the tale of Mickey Mouse's dream coming to life. Dining packages allow Guests to enjoy a meal at one of five tremendous Table-Service restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios, followed by a viewing of Fantasmic! from a reserved VIP seating area. This exciting dining event can be booked on the Walt Disney World Resort website, Louise. While you may not see availability for the date of your visit, be sure to check back because cancelations do happen and you may be able to snag a last-minute reservation!

I encourage you to take a peek at the Hours & Events Calendar for the date(s) of your trip to confirm the showtimes of the entertainment offerings you hope to enjoy, Louise. At the time of writing, Fantasmic! may take place at 8:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m., or both showtimes (subject to change). Once you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth, you'll also be able to conveniently view Park Hours and showtimes using the My Disney Experience mobile app!

I hope you've found this information helpful, Louise. I wish your travel party a vacation filled with magic! If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to revisit us at planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    Some imagination huh,
