Brandi,
Hello fellow Hoosier!
So you are on the right track by selecting your resort first. First figure out what resort level matches your budget, whether it is Deluxe/Moderate/Value, etc. Within that category then you need to pick what is the best one for you. Based on what you have told me here, these are my choices, by level;
- Deluxe: Polynesian Resort
- Moderate: Port Orleans Riverside
- Value: Pop Century
Now after that, what you want to do is select what parks you will visit on each day. I can help with that, if you send me your vacation dates, including letting me know if you will have time for a park on arrival or departure dates.
Then, once you have your park days sorted out, you want to plan your dining. This is important to do early, as you want to make any table service restaurant reservations (Advanced Dining Reservations), as close to 180 days out as possible, to ensure that you get your preferences. This is a change from the recent 90-day reservation window, so you will want to make sure you reserve as soon as allowed.
Send me your follow-up questions!
Have a magical vacation!
